Building the future: See what’s planned for campus
Framework 3.0 is Ohio State’s latest version of the roadmap that guides how the Columbus campus will develop and transform over the next several decades. Some of its proposed updates are highlighted in this video, which runs about 2 minutes long.
The Board of Trustees has approved the new master plan to steer smart growth, but the individual construction projects shown in the video still require approval before being started. That means the plans still might change.
While some projects in previous Frameworks never came to be, they also led to the 26-story hospital tower set to open in 2026, the new theatre and music buildings, and in the Carmenton innovation district, the Pelotonia Research Center and the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center.
