Cartoon contest: Finish the joke for our new comic

She’s the kind of Buckeye who drives a scarlet car, hangs out in a basement Buckeye shrine, and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s also totally made up—but you know Buckeyes like her. (Maybe it’s you.) 

A group of alumni and creative thinkers working at Ohio State started the Gage comic, posted monthly on social media and at go.osu.edu/Gage, to give our community a good chuckle. (Laughing, after all, reduces stress hormones and increases oxygen intake.) 

Now artist Mattie Mueller and the rest of the team behind Gage would like your help: Write a caption for this comic and share it with us. The best ones will publish in our winter issue.

Curious about her name?

The name “Gage” is a nod to what the comic team does—engage. Plus, Larsen, content director of Advancement Marketing and Communications and a standup comedian, knew a cool woman named Gage when he was in college.
